This book is about a man who never wants to die, so he made a potion that came out of "The Book Without Words", but the only person who can read the book is a green-eyed person, because green means "life". His slave, Sybil, and his other slave, Odo who is a raven, do not know the danger they have ahead of them, and it just might cost them their lives.

Some other people appear in this book, including a ghost lady. The potion this man is making makes four glowing, eye catching green stones that make him live. Even though these stones make him live, he dies more than once. This man can also make gold, but the gold never lasts since it's fake.

My opinion of this story is that, to me, it is soooo good, you need to read it. I love this book because it has a talking raven, magic, some chapters that just leave you hanging there, and a man that dies more than once.
