Nicolette's Book Review

Title: Teen Angst? Naaah…
Author: Ned Vizzini
Genre: Autobiography/ Young Adult
Rating: 4 1/2 out of 5
Reviewed by: Nicolette

This book has more than twenty stories of the teen years of Ned Vizzini. The stories are based on what happens between Ned’s Junior High years to his last year of high school. Video games, girls, drugs, and alcohol are some of the situations he faces in these stories. Also it tells of situations in which he had to make many different decisions. If you read this book you will read about him studying for the Stuy Test( a test the eight-graders took), going to a summer camp, seeing concerts, a demolition derby, siblings, and much much more. It is a book for those who want to read about a normal teenage boy.

I loved this book so much because it has stories of a real teenagers life, and the characters and their personalities make good stories. I recommend this book to anyone who wants a great laugh. I didn’t like the stories of his Senior Year, they just didn’t catch my attention, because Vizzini told a lot about prom and the senior trip which I could have cared less about. But over all it was a fantastic book to read!
